Minneapolis - Saint Paul International Airport denoted by three letter code MSP is the largest and busiest airport in the upper Midwestern region that comprising of the five states of Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Minneapolis airport is near Fort Snelling and is not aligned to any one city but is surrounded by many namely Bloomington, Mendota Heights, Minneapolis, Eagan, Richfield and St. Paul.
It is the sixteenth busiest airport in the US and thirtieth in the world. It is a joint military and civil airport and is home to Joint Air Reserve Station. It operates to 131 non stop destinations including 14 international and 116 domestic cities. It is Northwest’s major hub and also served by Delta connection carriers Compass, Mesaba and Pinnacle. It is also a hub for Sun Country Airlines. Minneapolis has two terminals Lindbergh and Humphrey named after famous Minnesotans aviator Charles Lindbergh and US Vice President Hubert Humphrey. Minneapolis airport has received numerous awards and recently in 2009, it was named Best Large Airport of North America.
A free Light Rail Transit service connects the two terminals of MSP. There are trains running round the clock between terminals with good frequency. Scheduled bus service of Jefferson Lines is available within the twin cities and the airport is well connected through taxis, limos, shuttle and van services.
Minneapolis is a vibrant city and isn’t short of entertainment. One can get close to nature in the Minnehaha Park and Falls, Underwater Adventures Aquarium, Rose Garden or taken a boat ride across Lake Calhoun. There are other attractions as well like Guthrie theatre, Mill City Museum, the Soap Factory and House of Balls.
